Stopped at this Portillo's restaurant location on Cicero on a weekday afternoon, for an early dinner. Located not too far from Chicago Midway Airport, and it was perfect for us as we were on our way to the United Center to see the Blackhawks. We ordered food with the self service kiosk, but you can talk to a real person to order food as well. It didn't take long for the food to come up, and their servings are plenty big enough to share. This location is big and has plenty of seats and tables inside and on the patio outside, as well as lots of parking spaces. if you're in Chicago, you have to try one of their Chicago-style hot dogs. Recommended!
1st time at Portillos. Loved the atmosphere & the food....The fresh, juicy burgers, the hot dog, the fresh, perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries & oohhh the chocolate cake. You have to get the chocolate cake! Awesome friendly employees too. Great experience & great oldies music. We could see the prompt service at the drive thru with an employee outside taking orders.
Love this location! Restrooms are upstairs but they have elevators, found out after I went up the stairs lol I finally ordered the right thing I wanted Italian beef sandwich not hotdog lol it was delicious, with giargiano hot sauce and mozzarella !! Yum plus hot and sweet peppers onions! Definitely will return, little pricey but worth it! I did not eat in but it was so fresh when I got to my destination! And I ate the other half the next day! Warms up great! Definitely didn’t get a chance to take befores lol plus fries and cheese
Awesome! Awesome food. Somewhat expensive but delicious. I went there with my son and 2 of my grandchildren. ATMOSPHERE was perfect somewhat quiet,It was a Saturday and a hot day! We will definitely go again. The Shakes were thick and delicious,hit the spot. we all had chocolate thick cold shakes...LOVE IT . Forgot to take pictures of food we were hungry,MY son and myself had double bacon cheese burgers,kids had hot dogs with fries..
OMG .....Not a long wait, got to view the menu & prices before ordering. Food was delicious and warm. Treated kids after delivering Thanksgiving Baskets Veterans. Didn't realize until we got home that my daughter left her purse. We called, very helpful female. Went back..... EVERYTHING there. Thank You Portillo Staff for this day Ending Wonderful!!!
Went during lunchtime and it wasn’t busy at all. This is a fancy Portillo’s — It must be brand new. The staff was friendly and super fast with my order. The food was hot and fresh. Couldn’t ask for anything more from Portillo’s.
So very glad they just opened not too long ago here in Cicero. No matter what we order the food is always delicious. Wide verity of well made satisfying comfort foods. The staff inside and the staff outside taking orders are familiar with their menu and offer recommendations. Over all the atmosphere is warm and inviting place to have a fast delicious meal.
Laid back but professional environment. Staff was nice and catering. Food brought back memories to my taste buds. It's been a minute since I had my Chicago staple food. Bacon cheese Burger, nice and hot - wished they added a little Mayo to my burger, but overall, I will definitely get it again. Fries were crispy and hitting just right, as I remember. I will surely make a return visit !
